FOOTBALL DREAMS
Football is not just a sport in Brazil, it’s an obsession.  They watch, play and talk about football. But for millions of Brazilian boys, there’s another reason why football is so important. A lot of   poor people try to become good players to be rich. Life is very hard for the citizens. Many children don’t go to school, and don’t have education. Football is their best chance of a new life, so they play for hours in the streets.
Of course, most of the boys don’t succeed, but some of them are lucky. One example is Ronaldo. He is from a poor family near Rio. Does he ever think about the poor towns now? The answer is yes. Ronaldo helps poor families in a town near Rio, called Ciudad de Dios. Things don’t change in a few days but what is clear is that football is still their dream.

Answer the following questions.
a) What do Brazilians think about football?

b) What is the situation in the poor towns?
c)  How long do they play football?
d)  Where does Ronaldo come from?
e)  What is their dream?
